Information and the space avaible play a contradictory and complementary role at the same time.

I develop in the comunication field and work independiently (freelance) at the time I study the last months on the faculty. Am convinced that the technical, theorical and practical learning is more forceful from outside the classrooms than inside them; although, these are very important guides in the learning process.

My name is Prometeo Jorge Rodríguez Lucero, I am 24 years old and live in Iztapalapa, Mexico City.

I started a majoring on Design of Graphical Communication in the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Xochimilco where I learned the basis of visual language. However I dediced to study journalism in the Facultad de Ciencias Políticas y Sociales (UNAM) where I fulfill the social service as adjunct professor. My studies on design have been by my own interest. I speak english y hablo español (mon francais est naissant).

My work dynamics

I do interviews during the projects realization, in which the client and I interchange points of view and deepen on solution offers. In journalism, I prefer to produce not only the information facts, but also the subject (agenda). In the web portals Tintero, Obtura and Perras Negras, that were born as schoolar projects, you can see that inclination and also in my photojournalistic blog Egoteca.

I also have collaborated on printed media such as El Universal, where I made professional practice in the editing room of Los Estados (The States) section and as guard reporter for Ciudad (City).

I disagree with orthodox models and methodologies, althought find out ehat is necessary to conclude the appropiate final work. I prefer to work with small groups and can do it at a distance. As part of my ethics, I do not mix my professional labor with political nor religious interests, even I can work for non profit ideas I agree with.

I also consider an important point to have spaces for reflection and critics: at a distance I can see better my errors and deficiencys. Without them, I think it’s not possible to go ahead.
